WASP DSC Tail Chop

The Wasp DSC Tail Chop is a 100% “Plug & Play” fit to all Ducati Sport-Classics from 2006 Paul Smart, SC1000 monoposto and biposto, SC1000S and GT right through to the current GT Touring. There are NO “old fashion” filament globes in this kit as all lights are Super-bright, high intensity, no maintenance L.E.D technology.



The Wasp DSC Tail Chop kit is supplied complete and includes matching front L.E.D indicators. The kit also includes all stainless steel mounting bolts and fasteners with nothing more required to complete the installation of your new look tail. We even include cable-ties for relocating the front indicator wires. A full colour comprehensive installation manual is also included with every kit.

After manufacture and testing in our workshops, the Wasp DSC Tail Chop kit is sent to you fully assembled and ready for immediate installation.
Once the bulky and heavy factory original tail unit is removed, (undo 4 bolts and disconnect two electrical connectors) your new Wasp DSC Tail Chop kit is installed using the original holes through the frame mount plates. You then connect the factory matching 6 pin electrical connector to liven up your new rear. The only thing left is to simply drill the laser-cut mounting plate to fit the existing holes in your registration number plate and fasten the number plate and bottom reflector lens (factory original) with the stainless steel bolts and nuts supplied.

No modifications are required to your bike or any of the components removed, and installation takes around 60 minutes with minimal tools and experience.

In component form, the Wasp DCS Tail Chop kit consists of: Laser-cut, CNC pressed, and black powder coated mounting plate. Stainless Steel fasteners to replace the original steel mount bolts + Stainless Steel bolts, nuts, and washers for fitting your number plate to your new tail piece. High intensity combination L.E.D Brake, Tail, and Number plate illumination light with a water resistant coating to the printed circuit board + factory matching 6 pin electrical connector. High intensity L.E.D Left and Right rear indicators with a water resistant coating to the printed circuit board. High intensity L.E.D Left and Right matching front indicators with a water resistant coating to the printed circuit board + factory matching 2 pin electrical connectors and connector harness’s + laser-cut and black powder coated factory matching indicator mount plates and stainless steel front indicator bolts.
